One Card at a Time Series: The Wheel of Fortune
To every thing, turn, turn, turn,
There is a season, turn, turn, turn,
A time for every purpose, under the sky.
I am here to remind you that nothing stays the same forever. Nor should it. Bad turns into good, which turns into bad again, which turns back into good.
Life isn't meant to be linear, a straight line from birth to death.
How boring would that be? Peaks and valleys, ups and downs, ebbs and flows. The trick is to just be prepared.
As the Buddhist philosophy goes: suffering exists and will always exist, but if you change the way you see suffering, you can change the wheel back again.
Sometimes it feels as though the wheel is in charge of you. But in reality, it's up to you take the control back and turn your ship towards your destiny.
